Weather here in SoCal is really nice! 65F, breezy and lots of sunshine!! Ready for some rain.
I hope you all had a GREAT weekend!! And try that recipe!!
GREAT song tonight!!! Pam Tillis!
Nice green lawn, sunshine, good baking, Chili Soup with cornbread (sounds like heaven ….what more could one ask for)?
Got the mess with my pics sorted out…later I will tackle the music…but I need to give the old eyes a rest LOL

It all sounds wonderful Bob. Thank you to Becky for sharing the recipe!
I’ll take a loaf, hold the cream cheese thank you. That looks so good (and fattening). I must make some. NOW.
The yard really does look great, now bring your bread on over and that will make the day complete!
Oh man that lawn makes me so jealous! I’ve always dreamed of being a snow bird! I had it all planned out in high school too. The plan was to get my teaching degree then teach in the south come to Wy in the summer. Like THAT ever happened LOL
OMG I can smell it. The spread sounds great too.
About that lawn. *stomps off full of jealousy -"It looks fake"
I sent you an email, I think it was to hotmail.
i know its real goofy!, I’m just messing with ya.
do you know the David Allen Coe song on my space? It really surprised me that Jade doesn’t know it. Is it a southern thang? surely not
Thanks for the recipe Bob it looks great.. It sure is rich isnt it! I think I would have to use some tweaking in order to eat it.. too much oil for me… anyway. it looks yummy and I will save it for company!! : ) PS my lawn is white with snow by golly. it sure is!!! : )
I totally read that as "for dinner is becky’s mom". I had to re-read it a couple of time to be sure I got it right, I figured you were a kinda normal guy and weren’t into that weird funny business that is so taboo I can’t name.
You can have our rain if we can have your temperature.
That looks lush. can you get your gardener to bring me some over? They can do my garden while they here then 😉
Note to Caroldee (and any others who worry about the fat/oil content): This really makes quite a bit. If you break it down, it’s only 1.6 oz. per loaf (if you bake the 5 smaller one’s like I did), which works out to .025 oz. per slice (you can easily get 8 slices per loaf), which works out to about 1/4 of a tablespoon per slice. Oh shut up, I don’t do math well and once you taste this you won’t care a bit! Someone please make it and let me know if you think it’s worth it! Remember, you only live once! Crap, maybe wrong thing to say and someone is going to have a racing/high cholesteral level because of me. I take everything back and remain neutral! Hee Hee!
P.S. Bob spray paints the lawn!! 🙂
I love pumpkin bread, I also love chili. Heaven. I can smell it from here.
