I feel twenty pounds lighter since I had all of those pumps, IVs and the PICC line removed. I also was able to take a REAL shower!! It had been 6 weeks of ‘bird baths’. The only things left to do are weekly doctor appointments and dressing changes, which Becky and I can do. I’m using a cane for now but that’s a trade-off that I can handle. The wound has finally closed now and the Collagen will complete the healing process.
Becky and I got to know my homecare nurse, Susan, very well and we will miss her visits. She did an excellent job… Better than my doctors did!

Boy that was scary for a while.. Your nurse looks fun & smarter than your doc eh?! Not hard to believe. Take it slow Bob, life wouldn’t be the same without you.
Great news! Why, you’ll be off that old cane before you know it. The dogs will be excited about you taking them out again. And don’t forget to take that camera of yours!

Gosh i just haven’t been on here in so long but have been trying to keep up with you via Facebook but it sure is niceto see your face and see you healthy. I promise to be on here more often, it’s Fall now, no more canning so I’ll have the time. SO happy you’re healing!
